I hope you’ve had a good week. This week I’ve had a much less busy week that’s allowed me time to write, podcast, and brainstorm more Substack and book coaching ideas. It’s also been a walking and bike riding week. Vinny is officially over walking in these summer temps and humidity.
I, however, have really been enjoying my bike rides. Yesterday, on my long ride, I started the audio of You’ll Be Sorry, the new thriller by Lisa Gardner—who, fittingly for today’s conversation, wasn’t included on the New York Times’ list of The 50 Best Thrillers of the 21st Century (gift link) but absolutely should have been!
I was thrilled to see the New York Times drop this list of the best thrillers which I have to say are my first genre love. Before I looked at it, I had a feeling I would’ve read many from the list and turns out—I’ve read 33 out of 50! And, I’m surprised to say, I’ve never asked a Friday question that centers on thrillers so today’s the day.
